Block Email Domains
Protect your sender reputation by blocking disposable, temporary, and malicious email domains. Learn how to configure global protection databases, enforce custom domain rules, and view message drop logs.
You can now curate a list of up to 20 disposable domains to which sending emails should be restricted. Preventing the sending of email messages to such disposable domains offers benefits such as improved deliverability scores and reduced bounces, which can hurt sender reputation.
In addition to the 20 custom domains, you can also opt to avoid sending emails to over 100K potentially malicious domains. See the complete list here
How to enable the disposable email domain check?
How to configure disposable email domains?
When you enable the Drop all emails sent to the default list of disposable domains toggle, you opt not to send emails to the known list of over 100K disposable domains.
Once you configure either or both options, click on CONFIRM.
How this works
Let's say you want to block sending emails to the domains ptcu.dev (from the default list) and malicious-domain.xyz (from your custom list).
Next, enter malicious-domain.xyz in the Custom email domains to block section.
Click CONFIRM.
Now, any email notifications triggered to ptcu.dev or malicious-domain.xyz are dropped automatically.
To change the configuration or add new custom disposable domains, click CONFIGURE.
